This Privacy Policy explains how ETCH Smart Uploader (“we”, “our”, “us”) handles information when you use our Android app and this website smart-ai-uploader.web.app. This policy is written to comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy.

1) Google user data we access

Through Google OAuth and the YouTube Data API, we access the following Google user data only:

Google Account email address (email scope).
Basic profile information (profile scope) such as name, profile photo, and profile ID.
OpenID identifier (openid scope) used to verify your identity.
YouTube Data API — https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.upload: limited to
- Uploading the video file you explicitly choose.
- Sending metadata you choose to include (title, description, tags, category, privacy status, and optional thumbnail).
- Receiving the created video ID and processing status/errors returned by the API.
OAuth tokens (access/refresh) necessary to authenticate and perform the above actions on your behalf.

We do NOT access Google data such as YouTube analytics, comments, subscriptions, playlists, Gmail, Drive, Contacts, Calendar, or any other Google user data outside the scopes listed above.

2) How we use Google user data

email / profile / openid: sign you in; show basic profile info in-app; maintain your session.
youtube.upload: upload your selected video and your chosen metadata to your own YouTube channel.

We do not use Google user data to build advertising profiles or for unrelated purposes.

3) Data sharing

We do not sell Google user data.
Data is shared only with Google APIs to carry out actions you request (e.g., video upload) and with essential service providers (e.g., hosting), under data-processing commitments.

4) Storage & protection

OAuth tokens are stored securely on-device using the Android Keystore where available.
All network communication uses HTTPS/TLS.
We follow least-privilege access and restrict scopes to the minimum necessary.

5) Retention & deletion

We retain Google user data only as long as needed to provide the features described above.
You may revoke our access anytime at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Deletion requests: email ahmed.etch3344@gmail.com. We respond within 30 days.

6) Children’s privacy

Our app is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
